Personal Data
Personally identifiable information, such as your email address, which you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application. This information is used solely for authentication purposes and to allow you to access your account and associated data.
If you create a user profile, we may also collect:
- Profile information you provide (e.g., name, photo). This is optional and used to personalize your experience.
Chat Conversations
- Chat conversations with the AI: Your interactions with the AI assistant, including text inputs and AI responses, are stored to provide you with a continuous chat history and to enable the core functionality of the Application. These conversations are processed by Google’s Gemini API.
Usage Data
Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Application, such as:
- App Interaction Data: Features you use, buttons clicked, session duration. This helps us understand how users engage with the Application to improve its functionality and user experience.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers (where permitted and necessary for app functionality like push notifications).
- Log Data: Diagnostic information, including crash logs and performance data, collected to help us identify and fix issues, and improve app stability. This data is typically aggregated and anonymized.
Data from Third-Party Services
- Firebase: We use Firebase (a Google service) for backend services including authentication, database storage (Firestore), and analytics (Firebase Analytics). Firebase may collect usage data as described in their privacy policy.
- Google’s Gemini API: For AI chat functionality. Your interactions with the Gemini API are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and any terms specific to the Gemini API. Google offers controls regarding data usage for model training. Please refer to their documentation for details.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNS): If you opt-in to receive push notifications, your device token is used by APNS to deliver these notifications.
Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Application to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide and maintain the chat functionality.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Application.
- Perform internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, and service improvement.
- Send you push notifications, if you have opted-in.
- Ensure the security of our Application and prevent fraud.
- Respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work (e.g., Firebase for backend, Google for Gemini API). These third parties are obligated to protect your data.
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
Data Storage, Security, and Retention
Storage and Security
- Your data, including chat conversations, is stored in Firebase Firestore.
- We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
- Conversations stored in our database are subject to Firebase’s security measures.
Retention
We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
- Account Information: Retained as long as your account is active.
- Chat Conversations: Retained to provide you with chat history. You can request deletion of your conversations (see “Your Rights”).
- Usage Data: May be retained for longer periods in aggregated or anonymized form for analytical purposes.
Third-Party Services and Their Policies
We use the following primary third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): For authentication, database, and analytics. Review Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
- Google’s Gemini API: For AI chat functionality. Your interactions with the Gemini API are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and any terms specific to the Gemini API. Google offers controls regarding data usage for model training. Please refer to their documentation for details.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNS): Used if you enable push notifications, governed by Apple’s privacy policies.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services. We are not responsible for the data collection or practices of third parties.
Tracking Technologies
We do not use your data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Firebase Analytics may collect usage data for our internal analytics but this is not used for cross-app/website tracking by us. Please refer to the privacy policies of our third-party services for their specific tracking practices.
Your Rights
You have certain rights regarding your personal information, subject to local data protection laws. These may include the right to:
- Access: Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Children’s Privacy

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.
